The Economic Research Behind Gabby Press Books and Blogs

Before Gabby Press publishes a new book, Gabby will generally place preliminary articles from researching the book on the global research platform, called Social Science Research Network (SSRN).

Gabby uses the SSRN platform as a way of seeing how the preliminary articles look on the internet, and uses SSRN to gather comments and feedback from other economists.

The SSRN articles are gnerally more academic and slightly more scholarly than the text in Gabby Press books.

The benefit for Gabby of this SSRN platform is that it allows Gabby to see the linkages and connections between topics that form the content of her books, over a long period of time.

Generally, the content on SSRN for one book will lead Gabby to begin writing the next book.

Our SSRN articles are organized into the same 5 themes as our books.

These five topic categories are:

  • Economic Systems – entrepreneurial capitalism vs. corporate/predatory capitalism.
  • Constitutional/Governance Reform – state sovereignty, natural rights, dissolution scenarios
  • Populist/Anti-Establishment Critique – challenging corporate globalism and centralized power
  • Technology and Innovation – blockchain, Schumpeter’s creative destruction, technology evolution
  • Political Philosophy – natural rights conservatism, democratic impulse, equal rights

We provide readers a deeper dive into our research with url links to some of the articles on the SSRN platform, Most links will open up the abstract for a brief review, which leads to the full article.

The total number of Gabby Press SSRN articles is over 150, some of which were considered too controversial by SSRN reviewers to place in the public access section of SSRN, and were placed in the private section, which takes a little more effort for readers to access.

Readers who would like to review the more controversial articles are encouraged to explore the bottom section of the Gabby Press SSRN page.
